Dear Residents,

During one of our regular patrols we came cross a free blood pressure monitor available at Kensington Library in the Town Hall and wanted to share this useful service with you.

High blood pressure can increase the risk of Cardiovascular disease, including heart disease and stroke, so checking your blood pressure regularly is an important way to look after your health.

The blood pressure monitor is free to use and available on a self service basis. Library staff can point you to the equipment, although they are unable to interpret your results or give medical advice. However, there is a helpful information sheet next to the monitor to help you understand your blood pressure readings.
