Anti-Social Behaviour - New Tredegar

Dear Residents,

Following recent community reports of anti-social behaviour within New Tredegar, The Caerphilly North Neighbourhood Policing Team are working alongside South Wales Fire Service and Caerphilly County Borough Council to identify the number of young people believed to be involved.

When identified, home visits will be carried out and appropriate ASB warning letters will be issued.

Officers will continue to carry out targeted patrols in and around the area, engaging with young people and taking appropriate action where incidents of anti-social behaviour are identified.

We would also encourage parents/guardians to be aware of where their children are, who they are spending time with and what they are doing when away from home. Parents can play an important role in helping to prevent young people becoming involved in behaviour that negatively affects residents and businesses.
