🚔 Tackling Vehicle Crime and Keeping Our Roads Safe 🚔 |

|
Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team continues to take positive action against vehicle-related offences across the area.
During recent patrols, officers have seized five mopeds being ridden without valid insurance, helping to remove uninsured vehicles from our roads and reduce the risk posed to other road users. In addition, officers seized one van that had no valid MOT or vehicle tax, with enquiries revealing it had been illegally driven and kept on the road for over two years without complying with legal requirements.
Driving without insurance, MOT, or vehicle tax puts everyone at risk and can contribute to wider criminality. We will continue to carry out proactive patrols, stop checks, and enforcement activity to identify vehicles being used unlawfully.
Thank you to the members of our community who continue to report concerns and provide information. Your support helps us keep our neighbourhoods safe.
