Between 11/10/2026 and 13/10/2026, unknown offender(s) have approached a separate Ford Focus on Foredrove Lane and caused damage to the fuel tank before making good their escape. There has been no attempt to steal the vehicle.
There was a burglary in the evening of 13/10/2026 on Billsmore Green. Two offenders have used a tool to force open the front door of an address, likely to steal the keys for a vehicle parked out the front. The offenders were disturbed by the homeowner and made good their escape.
In the early hours of 15/10/2026, unknown offender(s) have gained entry to a parked Honda CRV on Springfield Crescent and stolen items from it. The way in which they have accessed the vehicle is currently unknown.
Good News:
The team made an arrest for a high-risk arson suspect with the help of our colleagues on the Drone Unit. They kept the location under observation so when the offender fled the address they were able to pinpoint his location and swiftly get him in cuffs. He is now behind bars and the victim he targeted is now safeguarded.
The team went on a joint operation with the Neighbourhood Crime Team to arrest a wanted male who had committed a number of robberies in the local area after a tip off to his location. He was tracked down, locked up and charged that same day. A great result of a joint operation which took us off patch to bring in a wanted male in and deliver a service to the victims of his crimes.
The team recovered a stolen vehicle in Elmdon which had been dumped in a backstreet and has now been seized by officers so it can be returned the rightful owner. This was highlighted by helpful local residents who kindly assisted us with CCTV enquiries.
The team have been staying on duty after late shifts to carry out proactive patrols targeting vehicle crime into the early hours of the morning following the ongoing helpful intelligence provided to us by the local community. This is something we will continue doing as the darker nights set in.
As always, please reach out to us should you have any concerns. Regards,
