We wanted to share a quick update about dangerous driving in your area. Please be assured we’re working to keep everyone safe. Dear Heston Central resident.
You may be aware of a Police incident that occurred on George Street and Moulton Avenue during the early evening of the 15th of October 2026.
This incident attracted a lot of attention from residents due to the manner of driving of the individual who failed to stop for Police and the number of officers that turned up to support their colleagues.
I wanted to reach out to you to say that this is not an incident isolated to Heston Central and owing to officers sighting the vehicle in the locality, the vehicle tried to evade Police by driving through a number of residential streets in Heston Central.
• Vehicle identified by officers on ANPR operation as being on cloned plates.
• Travelled at speed through HOUNSLOW CENTRAL and HOUNSLOW HEATH before driving in loops around HESTON CENTRAL.
• Vehicle appears to have damaged 3 or 4 other vehicles during the pursuit.
• Suspect vehicle eventually blocked by an unmarked car at junction of GEORGE STREET and MOULTON AVENUE (HESTON CENTRAL).
• Due to the drivers behaviour and dangerous actions, uniformed officers removed them from the vehicle and detained on the ground to prevent their escape or any weapons being used on officers.
• Suspect arrested for driving dangerously, theft of a motor vehicle and drug related offences.
• Suspect was taken to hospital for assessment before attending custody.
• Further criminal property found following a property search and investigation still on going.
Sgt 155WA Binns, Heston Central / East neighbourhood Sergeant.
![]() If someone is driving a motor vehicle, they should always be doing so in a safe and considerate manner. Even momentary lapses in judgement can have life changing or devastating consequences for those in the vehicle or innocent bystanders. Activities such as street racing, cruising or performing tricks can count as anti-social behaviour. If you are concerned about this in your area, visit our website for the latest guidance.
