Neighbourhood Policing Team Weekly Update

Neighbourhood Policing Team Weekly Update

Good Afternoon,

This week, the Poole Neighbourhood Policing Team have been out and about across Poole, focusing on community engagement and speaking directly with residents, businesses, and partner agencies. From foot patrols in our local communities to attending community meetings and visiting schools, officers and PCSOs have been taking every opportunity to listen to concerns, provide crime prevention advice, and build positive relationships with those who live and work in the area.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to stop and speak with us this week. Whether you raised concerns, shared information, or simply said hello, your input helps us make our communities safer and stronger.

Today, PCSOs Matt, Mike (Winton NPT) and Sam (Wareham NPT) attended a careers fair at St Aldhelm’s Academy in #Rossmore . Throughout the event, officers spoke with students about the varied and rewarding careers available within policing, as well as the important role PCSOs play in supporting local communities. Students had the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the skills needed for a career in public service, and gain an insight into the day-to-day work of neighbourhood policing. Engaging with young people is a key part of what we do, and we would like to thank St Aldhelm’s Academy for inviting us along. We hope we inspired some future officers and look forward to continuing to build positive relationships with the young people in our community.

Here's a quick look at some of the positive work achieved over this week 👇
