Burglary Update

Neighbourhood Burglary Update

Good news, there have been no reported burglaries this month in the area.

As a reminder, please continue to carry out regular security checks of your home, particularly when leaving the property or before going to bed.

A few simple steps can help reduce the risk of burglary:

Ensure all doors and windows are locked, even if you are only leaving for a short time.

Keep house and car keys in a safe place, out of sight and away from doors, windows, and letterboxes.

Avoid displaying valuable items where they can be seen through windows.

Consider leaving a light on or using timer switches when the property is unoccupied.

Make sure sheds, garages, and outbuildings are secured with good-quality locks.

Report any suspicious activity to the police.

By taking these simple precautions, we can all help keep our community safe and secure. Thank you for your continued vigilance.
