Dear Resident
Good evening to you all from the Four Oaks Neighbourhood Teams
On this set of shifts your neighbourhood team have been busy in your community carrying out the following tasks
We have been carrying patrols in Mere Green retail areas deterring shoplifters, Hill Hook Nature Reserve and Badgers Bank Road after reports from residents of Anti-Social Behaviour.
While patrolling the Badgers Bank area, two residents were seen to be acting in an anti-social manner, both persons were spoken to and reported to Housing Association.
Four Oaks Neighbourhood
Residential Burglary Lichfield Road – On Tuesday 6th October 2026 between 04.30hrs and 05.00hrs offenders have gained access to a property via side door, nothing was stolen as offenders were disturbed.
Heathfield Road – Between Friday 9th October and Sunday 11th October 2026 offenders have gained entry to the property via an insecure rear door where a handbag has been stolen.
Harvest Fields Way – Between Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th October 2026 offenders have tried to gain entry to the property by trying to snap lock a side door, entry was unsuccessful and nothing was stolen.
Theft of Motor Vehicle Worcester Lane – On Saturday 10th October 2026 at 00.00hrs a Bronze Lexus was stolen by unknown means. Ethlered Close – Between Friday 9th October and Saturday 10th October 2026 between 21.30hrs and 08.50hrs a Red Jaguar was stolen by unknown means.
If you do own a keyless entry vehicle, please make sure that your keys are kept in a faraday pouch (always remember to check your Faraday pouch is still working), when at home or out and about, this will stop thieves getting the signal for your vehicle. Using a steering wheel lock is also a visual deterrent.
For more crime prevention advice go to www.westmidlands.police.uk/cp/crime-prevention/ or www.securedbydesign.com Please remember to lock all windows and doors, do not leave keys in your doors, especially if you have a cat/dog flap, before heading out make sure your home looks like someone is in.
Surgeries Four Oaks Baptist Church, Mere Green. Four Oaks Tennis Club, Four Oaks. Harvest Fields Centre, Roughly, Councillors Harry Parmar and Michael Hunt also attended. Spoken with residents about issues in the area and gave crime prevention advice.
Street Watch A Street Watch patrol has been carried out in Hill Village Street Watch group. A BIG thank you to all our volunteers. We are looking for volunteers for Street Watch Members to join our existing Street Watch Groups on Hill Village Road, Dunton Close and Harvest Fields Estate. If you would like more information reply to this message.
School Patrols Parking patrols have been carried out at Coppice Junior and Infant, Four Oaks Junior and Infant and Hill West Junior and Infant schools.
The Four Oaks Neighbourhood Team are working with the schools to try and deter the lack of consideration of how some motor vehicles are parked on the road outside schools. Of course, if vehicles are taxed and insured, they can park on the public highway BUT the issues arise when vehicles are parking on the yellow lines and zigzag’s, on footpaths, double parking and completely or partially obstructing driveways. When vehicles are parked in this fashion, they are causing an obstruction offence and therefore liable to a fine. Please remember to park in the correct manner, as we want to keep the children safe.
Have a safe week.
Kind Regards Four Oaks Neighbourhood Teams
