Dear residents, In July, we set three local priorities for the Northampton St George, Abington and Phippsville (STAP) area. These were drug dealing and drug misuse, road safety and road traffic offences, and burglary. These priorities were based on concerns raised by local residents, together with local crime data and information provided by partner agencies, such as the local council. Due to the concerns in the local community about Road Safety – We lifted a vehicle on King Edward Road which was parked on the corner of a junction. Vehicle was lifted due to dangerous parking, vehicle had seemed to have been abandoned, and concerns were raised by the local residents. This is a positive result for our local community and demonstrates ongoing work being carried out by officers to tackle issues raised by the community. |
