Successful Multi-Agency Operation Delivers Results Across Havelock and Lady Margaret Estates

On Tuesday 13th October 2026, Southall Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) worked alongside Ealing Council's Environmental Enforcement Team and Estate Management Teams during a highly successful multi-agency operation targeting environmental concerns, rough sleeping, and nuisance vehicles across the Havelock and Lady Margaret Estates.

The operation began at Havelock Estate, where partners worked together to clear areas affected by rough sleeping, remove accumulated waste, and carry out a deep cleanse of local garages and communal spaces, helping to improve the environment for residents. Enforcement activity also resulted in the arrest of one individual and the removal of numerous vehicles found to be abandoned or linked to offences such as having no insurance or MOT.

The operation continued into the afternoon at Lady Margaret Estate, where further abandoned and illegally used vehicles were identified and removed. In total, 22 vehicles were seized and removed during the day.

This coordinated partnership approach delivered significant results while improving safety, cleanliness, and quality of life for local residents. The success of the operation highlights the positive impact that can be achieved when local agencies work together to address issues affecting our communities.
