Dear Resident
On Sunday 13 September at approximately 04:00 hrs a motorbike was stolen from the carpark at Eagle House on Lytton Way.
Two males dressed in black and wearing hoods and masks, entered the car park and went straight to the bay where the bike was parked. The males then spent several minutes removing the bike, which they wheeled out of the car park. One of the males was carrying the cover for the bike in his arms.
PC Erin McCarthy who is investigating said: “The theft has been captured on CCTV but unfortunately the males have their faces covered. One of the males was wearing shorts and a black jacket with white socks and trainers. He was also wearing a black hat and a face mask. The second male had a black coat with the hood up, black jogging bottoms and white trainers.
“The bike was a black 06 plate Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R 600. Although the theft happened at a quiet time we are hoping someone may have seen the men wheeling the bike or captured them on a dash cam or home security camera.
“We are also interested in hearing from anyone who thinks they have seen the bike for sale.”
Please see picture attached of bike.
