🚔 Ruislip & Ickenham SNT Update - Op Octarine Results 🚔

Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents.

Our officers have been extremely busy out on patrol as part of Op Octarine and wider neighbourhood policing activity across Ruislip and Ickenham.

✅ 147 vehicle stops conducted

✅ 13 positive outcomes achieved

✅ 5 arrests made

✅ Numerous groups of youths dispersed from the High Street, Churchfield Gardens and McDonald's following reports of anti-social behaviour.

✅ Officers have carried out school visits, speaking with young people about making positive choices, the dangers of knife crime, and providing crime prevention advice to help keep our communities safe.

✅ A stolen mobile phone was successfully recovered by officers and returned to its rightful owner.

✅ Officers have also assisted at road traffic collisions and provided first aid where required.

Thank you to everyone who continues to report concerns and engage with your local policing team. Your information helps us target the issues that matter most to our community.

And finally... if you're planning on committing crime in Ruislip, please be aware that our officers appear to be collecting positive outcomes faster than some people collect loyalty points. Save yourself the disappointment and choose the legal option instead! 😄🚓

Across London we’ve put hundreds more officers on the frontlines of community crime-fighting teams, upping visible patrols in the right ‘hot spots’ so we can deter and catch criminals - including with new tech like live facial recognition cameras, drones and e-bikes.

Antisocial behaviour can come in many forms and can require support from more organisations than just the police. A full list of what we categorise as antisocial behaviour is available on our website.

If you have experienced anti-social behaviour or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.met.police.uk or call the non-emergency number 101.

Alternatively, you can stay 100% anonymous by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their untraceable online form at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
