SNT Barkingside - Community Reassurance Patrols at Inglehurst Gardens

Today, your local Barkingside Safer Neighbourhood Team was out and about in Inglehurst Gardens, engaging with residents and providing visible reassurance patrols.

During our patrols, we spoke with a number of local residents regarding concerns around anti-social behaviour (ASB), speeding vehicles, and motor vehicle crime. We listened carefully to the issues raised and discussed the actions being taken to help address these concerns.

Officers also encouraged residents to sign up to Met Engage, helping them stay informed about local policing activity, crime prevention advice, community events, and opportunities to share their views directly with their local policing team.

Throughout the patrol, we provided practical crime prevention advice, particularly around protecting vehicles from theft and preventing opportunistic crime. High-visibility patrols will continue to take place to deter crime, reduce ASB, and provide reassurance to the community.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to speak with us today. Your feedback is invaluable and helps us understand the issues that matter most to local residents. We remain committed to working alongside our partners, local councillors, the council, and the wider community to help keep Barkingside a safe place to live, work, and visit.

If you have not already done so, please consider signing up to Met Engage and continue reporting any concerns to us. Together, we can make a real difference in our neighbourhood.
