Local Priorities Burglary - Residential Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Burglary - Residential, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

On 12th October at approx 1020am a witness observed what appeared to be a burglary from a property in the Knockmore ward of Lisburn and the vehicle making off with a stolen item. This vehicle was stopped by police nearby and the stolen property recovered, 3 male occupants of this vehicle were arrested and charged and will face their day in court. A big thank you to this vigilant witness who was able to contribute to this successful arrest and charge. Please ensure you review your home security, do not leave valuables in sight of opportunistic criminals, ensure doors windows and vehicles are locked at all times, and remember, report any suspicious activity as soon as possible you never know what you could be interrupting.
