This morning, officers conducting proactive patrols in Ashford, stopped and searched a vehicle, resulting in the discovery of a number of cannabis-infused gummies, a knuckle duster, and a catapult.

All items were seized and removed from the streets. The male involved was interviewed and will be dealt with for offences relating to the possession of a controlled drug and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.

This is another example of how proactive policing helps tackle criminality, remove weapons and drugs from our communities, and keep people safe.

✅ Drugs seized
