🎆 Fireworks & Anti-Social Behaviour Awareness 🎆 As we approach fireworks season, we are reminding everyone to use fireworks safely and responsibly. Unfortunately, each year we receive reports of fireworks being let off late at night, thrown at people, vehicles or properties, and used in a manner that causes fear, distress and nuisance within our communities. This type of behaviour can be anti-social behaviour and, in some cases, may also amount to criminal offences. Please be considerate of your neighbours, especially young children, elderly residents, pets and those who may find loud bangs distressing. Anyone found misusing fireworks, causing anti-social behaviour, damaging property, or putting others at risk may be dealt with by the police and could face enforcement action where appropriate. If you witness anti-social behaviour involving fireworks, please report it via GMP Live Chat or by calling 101. Always call 999 if there is an immediate threat to life, a crime in progress, or someone is in danger. Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or visiting https://crimestoppers-uk.org. Thank you for your support. By working together and reporting concerns, we can help keep our communities safe and ensure everyone can enjoy fireworks season responsibly. 🚔🎆 | ||
