Hello residents of Hungerford and Lambourn, We are appealing for information following a report of burglary at HUNGERFORD PARK, HUNGERFORD.
The incident occurred between 17:20 & 17:40HRS on FRIDAY 2ND OCTOBER 2026 at HUNGERFORD PARK, HUNGERFORD
Offenders using face coverings have gained forced entry to an outbuilding before stealing a number of items, including a red Honda ride-on lawn mower and a Stihl strimmer. CCTV captured two males entering the property on foot before a white panel van arrived and drove towards the outbuilding.
Investigating officer, PC 2641 Harry Downes, based at Newbury Police Station, said: "We are particularly keen to hear from anybody who was in the Hungerford Road area near to Hungerford Park, or travelling on surrounding roads, during the early evening of 2 October. We would like to speak to anyone who may have CCTV, doorbell camera footage, dashcam footage, or any information relating to a white panel van seen in the area around that time.
"Even if you believe what you have seen may be insignificant, it could prove vital in helping us identify those responsible and the vehicle used."
