Wharf Lane, Staveley - Parking Issues

Wharf Lane, Staveley - Parking Issues

Dear Resident

Thank you to all of the local Staveley residents who attended my engagement today at Morrison's. The parking issues on Wharf Lane were heavily discussed and residents have raised several concerns regarding the amount of dangerous parking that is happening on this street.

This is not acceptable, and is a reminder to all residents to park safely when driving, to not park on double yellow lines and to not park too close to a junction as this can obscure the view when trying to manoeuvre.

These concerns have been raised to Derbyshire County Council's parking enforcement team, so that they can begin patrolling this street and issue fixed penalty notices (fines) to those parking illegally.

If you have concerns about parking, please email parking@derbyshire.gov.uk or report to police via 101/through the Derbyshire Police website.
