📍 SOUTH RUISLIP & RUISLIP MANOR NPT UPDATE
🚓 Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)Officers have continued to patrol areas highlighted to us by residents as experiencing anti-social behaviour. Recent activity has included several stop and searches, resulting in the seizure of cannabis in the Victoria Road area. Officers have also maintained a visible presence at The Old Dairy, working to prevent and disrupt anti-social behaviour and reassure those visiting the site.
👮 CrimeOfficers across both wards have been busy tackling offenders and bringing them to justice. 🔹 Following a review of overnight crime reports, officers identified a male responsible for several thefts from motor vehicles. He was arrested and charged for these offences. 🔹 Another offender was identified as being responsible for multiple shoplifting offences at Boots, Field End Road. He was subsequently arrested and charged with a number of theft offences. 🔹 The team also arrested a male for breaching court-imposed bail conditions relating to violence against women and girls (VAWG) offences. 🔹 In a separate arrest, officers detained a male who was wanted by the courts for failing to appear as required. Following his arrest, he was found in possession of what is believed to be Class A drugs and property suspected to have been stolen from a local shop. Enquiries remain ongoing. 🤝 Community EngagementThis week, PC Solanki organised a street briefing in Arla Place to discuss current plans to tackle anti-social behaviour in the local area. The event was well attended by residents, councillors and partner agencies, providing an excellent opportunity to explain how we are working together to deliver long-term solutions to local issues. Officers were able to discuss ongoing problem-solving initiatives and listen to concerns raised by the community.
Thank you to everyone who attended and continues to support our efforts to keep South Ruislip and Ruislip Manor safe.
🏠 Crime Prevention ReminderWe have seen a recent increase in burglary-related offences across the area and would encourage all residents to ensure that doors and windows are securely locked whenever properties are left unattended, even for short periods. To tackle this issue, local neighbourhood officers have been tasked with conducting targeted late-night burglary patrols in affected areas. These patrols will include both uniformed and plain-clothed officers, providing a visible deterrent while also supporting proactive efforts to identify and apprehend offenders. If you would like further advice on protecting your home and property, a wide range of crime prevention guidance is available on the Metropolitan Police website.
