Enquiries: Sur-ron bikes and off road bikes

Enquiries: Sur-ron bikes and off road bikes

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Nuisance Motorbikes / E-Bikes / E-Scooters, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

Hello

We are updating local residents that we are continuing to take action on the seizure of sur-ron bikes/ nuisance motorbikes. On 12/10/2026, a sur-ron bike was seized from High Street. A few weeks prior, another sur-ron was seized in the Old Skem area.

We are reaching out asking members of the public in this area if they have any information that would aid officers in the seizure of nuisance sur-ron bikes and off road bikes.

If you know who is using the bikes, where the bikes are being stored or have any cctv of the bikes then please reply to this message.

Remember, this platform is completely confidential.

We want to encourage local residents to report any concerns or information they have to police regarding this subject, as it is a local priorty and is an ongoing issue in Skelmersdale.

Officers continue to tackle this issue by utilising information from local residents/ partner agencies, community and police intelligence and the use of police drones.

Thank you
