Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Kirkwall Drive on Tuesday 13th October between 09:00hrs and 09:15hrs

The method of attack was by snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

Suspect/s attend on Surrons, gain entry to property by snapping the front door lock, suspect/s make and untidy search, not yet known if anything was taken. Suspect/s leave on Surrons

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between above date and times to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

As a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
