Hammersmith Broadway SNT – Community Update |
||
|
Hammersmith Broadway Safer Neighbourhood Team has recently carried out a number of targeted operations focused on addressing local concerns and supporting the priorities identified by both our community and the Metropolitan Police Service.
Saturday 10 October Officers conducted a plain-clothes deployment in Hammersmith targeting local policing priorities, including shoplifting and the handling of stolen property as part of Operation Zoridon. As a result of the operation, one individual was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods and possession of a knife.
Monday 12 October Hammersmith Broadway SNT carried out a dedicated e-bike operation focused on identifying and seizing illegally modified e-bikes. Alongside enforcement activity, officers provided crime prevention advice and engaged with members of the public, listening to local concerns and offering reassurance.
Tuesday 13 October In the morning officers located an offender who was wanted on an outstanding court warrant. The individual was arrested and will be brought before the court. Later the same day, officers arrested a second offender who was also wanted in connection with an outstanding court circulation.
We would like to thank local residents and businesses for their continued support and the information they provide. Community intelligence plays a vital role in helping us tackle crime, address local concerns, and keep Hammersmith & Fulham safe.
If you have information about crime or antisocial behaviour in your area, please continue to report it through the appropriate channels. #MetEngage #HammersmithBroadway #SaferNeighbourhoods #CommunityPolicing #OpZoridon #EBikeOperation #KeepingCommunitiesSafe
