Working Together to Tackle ASB and Drug Activity In Highgate |

Dear Highgate Residents,
We are aware that anti-social behaviour (ASB) remains a priority issue, particularly in and around the Whittington Estate area. Tackling these concerns continues to be a key focus for your local neighbourhood policing team.
Officers continue to carry out high-visibility patrols across the area and take positive action where criminality and ASB are identified. This includes engaging with residents, gathering intelligence, and taking appropriate enforcement action when necessary.
During patrols yesterday, officers located 11 nitrous oxide canisters and a number of balloons that had been discarded on the street. The items were recovered and safely disposed of by officers, helping to keep the area clean and safe for the community.
If you suspect drug-related activity in your area, please report it: • Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111
Your information plays an important role in helping us identify issues, target offenders and keep our neighbourhoods safe.
On another note, yesterday we were pleased to host a Cuppa with a Copper event in the area. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend, stop for a chat and share your thoughts and concerns with us. It was great to meet so many residents and hear directly from the community.
These events are what neighbourhood policing is all about: being visible, approachable and accessible, whilst strengthening relationships with the people we serve. We remain committed to working alongside residents and our partner agencies to address the issues that matter most to our community.
Thank you for your continued support. We will continue to maintain a visible presence in the area and work proactively to tackle ASB and other concerns raised by local residents.
