Suspicious Circumstances

Community Safety Advice - Humberside Police

At approximately 11:20am Monday 12th October 2026, a male approached the front door of a residential property in Humberston before quickly leaving after noticing a CCTV camera was recording his actions.

We encourage residents to remain vigilant and take simple steps to protect their homes:

Ensure doors and windows are locked, even when at home.

Keep valuables out of sight and secure sheds, garages and side gates.

Consider installing CCTV, video doorbells or motion-activated lighting.

Report any suspicious behaviour and look out for vulnerable neighbours.

Seen something suspicious? Report it to Humberside Police via 101 or online at www.humberside.police.uk

If a crime is in progress or someone is in immediate danger, always call 999.

Stay alert, stay safe, and help us keep our community safe.
