Abandoned Vehicles

We have recently received a few reports in relation to abandoned vehicles.  Abandoned vehicles can be reported to the council via this link Report an abandoned vehicle - GOV.UK

If a vehicle is parked on a public road and has no MOT, the police will only get involved when it is actually being used /driven.

If the issue relates to a specific address and they have several vehicles parked on a public road and they are in a state of disrepair or causing a nuisance, I would recommend reporting to the Community Safety Partnership to be dealt with as anti-social behaviour.  All agencies will be notified to find a solution jointly.  You can contact via Derbyshire Dales District Council tel: 01629 761100
