Last month, officers were out across the county as part of Operation Lockstream, a proactive policing operation targeting Organised Immigration Crime (OIC) on Norfolk's roads. Working at key locations including Thetford, Diss, Swaffham, Great Yarmouth and alongside colleagues from Cambridgeshire Constabulary near Wisbech, officers made 41 arrests and seized 40 vehicles.
Among the results:
Sgt Josh Preston, who led the operation, said the results show the value of intelligence-led policing and partnership working in disrupting criminality and bringing offenders before the courts. Operations like Lockstream help tackle organised crime, drug offences, theft and immigration-related offending, while making Norfolk's roads and communities safer for everyone. | ||
