Rick, later joined by Lee, visited every street in Rush Green this afternoon, as well as provide an after-college presence to monitor ASB (9.15 miles). After recently receiving information suggesting college students were gathering in Harveys Lane, Rick headed to the service road opposite the college (3.41pm) via the Eastbrookend Country Park and Valentines Way.
Every street on the Gorseway side of Dagenham Road followed, including Havering's Footpath 155 (3.54pm) and Lilac Gardens (4.07pm, p).
Next up, Rick patrolled all of the west side, including Philip Close (4.26pm), Croxford Way (4.36pm) and Thorntons Farm Avenue (5.07pm), which also saw impromptu 10-minute surveys of Horace and Thorntons Farm Avenue to assess speeding as drivers headed home from work.
Joined by Lee, there was a visit to the New Avenues Social Club, along with full coverage of Parish Fields (5.36pm, p). Great Cullings, Eastbrook Drive (6.26pm) and Fels Farm Mews saw the last of the RM7 streets ticked off, with the winding Footpath 18 leading back to the The Chase (p).
There was still time for a call-by at the May and Baker Social Club late on, wrapping up more than 4 hours out.
