Brierton Sports Centre

Brierton Sports Centre

Over the past week, officers have received reports of anti-social behaviour at Brierton Sports Centre on Brierton Lane in Hartlepool.

This involved groups of youths accessing and using the 3G football pitches without payment. Some youths have responded with verbal abuse and continued to cause disruption when asked to leave.

I am therefore asking parents and guardians of those who attend the facility to speak with them about their behaviour.

In the meantime, we are working alongside staff at the sports centre to address these concerns and identify those responsible. If these incidents continue, it may result in further action being taken.

I appreciate the support of parents and guardians in helping to ensure that Brierton Sports Centre remains a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
