Surbiton Sky Sunday! |

Dear Residents, Who would have thought that strapping blocks of ice to your feet or sliding down St Marks Hill in a bathtub could help build a stronger community?!? Behind all the fun and laughter, Surbiton Ski Sunday helps bring people together, spark new friendships and strengthen the local connections that make our neighbourhood special. The annual event sees participants take on the famous downhill course on blocks of ice or in a bathtub while residents gather to cheer them on and enjoy one of Surbiton's most unique community traditions. The St Marks & Seething Wells Safer Neighbourhood Team were pleased to attend and support the event. We even ended up taking part and found our faces on the evening news (see the attached YouTube videos)! Days like this provide a great opportunity to meet residents in an informal setting, hear what's important to the community and strengthen the relationships that help make our neighbourhood a safe and welcoming place to live. A big thank you to The Community Brain, the volunteers and everyone who took part or came along to support the day.
