|
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road Safety Issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey. Based on information from the community officers from the York Outer Neighbourhood Policing Team located and stopped a vehicle of note. The driver tested positive for drugs at the roadside and was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. The driver has been bailed pending toxicology testing. If you have any concerns of anyone drug driving, or involved in dangerous driving please contact a member from your local Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT). Alternatively, log onto www.northyorkshire.police.uk Always dial 999 in an emergency If you ever experience this issue or have information regarding an incident, please report it using our online reporting tools at https://www.northyorkshire.police.uk, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101.
