🚲 E-Bikes in Our Community – Ride Safe, Ride Responsibly We've seen an increasing number of e-bikes being used across our neighbourhoods, providing a convenient and environmentally friendly way to travel. While most riders use them responsibly, there have been reports of dangerous riding, anti-social behaviour and the use of illegally modified bikes. Please remember: ✅ Ride with consideration for other road and pavement users. Parents and guardians are encouraged to speak with young people about safe and lawful use of e-bikes. Some high-powered or modified bikes are classed as motor vehicles and may require insurance, registration and a driving licence to be used legally. By riding responsibly, we can all help keep our roads, parks and public spaces safe for everyone. If you have concerns about dangerous riding or anti-social behaviour involving e-bikes, please report it to Greater Manchester Police via 101, online, or in an emergency always call 999. Together we can ensure e-bikes remain a safe and positive part of our community. Neighbourhood Policing Team | ||
