Drugs stop in Park Farm |

Hello Resident,
Following reports from residents regarding ongoing anti-social behaviour in a car park within the Park Farm area, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted proactive patrols in the area last night.
While doing this Police observed a vehicle attempt to enter the car park before abruptly turning around upon noticing police presence and driving away. The vehicle was subsequently stopped nearby.
Due to intelligence linking the vehicle to suspected drug-related activity, officers carried out a stop search of the occupants under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act. During the search, a quantity of ketamine was located and appropriate action has been taken against the individual found in possession of the substance.
Further checks revealed that the driver only held a provisional driving licence and was driving without valid insurance. A Traffic Offence Report (TOR) was issued, and the matter will be dealt with accordingly. The vehicle was also seized.
We would like to thank residents who continue to report concerns to us. Information provided by the community helps us identify local issues and target our patrols where they are most needed. We remain committed to tackling anti-social behaviour and criminality in our neighbourhoods. If you are experiencing persistent anti-social behaviour or have information you would like to share with us, please contact Kent Police via 101 or online through the Kent Police website.
Kind regards | ||
