STREET BRIEFING ON DONNINGTON AND EMMOT AVENUE

STREET BRIEFING ON DONNINGTON AND EMMOT AVENUE

Dear Residents,

We’d like to extend our thanks to the residents of Donington Avenue and Emmott Avenue who attended our street briefing last weekend.

We are grateful for their feedback and for taking the time to come and speak with us. Our events are always aimed at engaging with our communities, listening to their concerns and learning about the issues that affect them.

This gives us the opportunity to build an intelligence picture, learn about developing issues and ultimately – what is required to address the issues. In recent months, we made a successful application for a temporary CCTV camera to be deployed in Donington Avenue to combat Anti-Social Behaviour.

Our application was only successful due to the degree of information and intelligence we received from local residents. Most applications are unsuccessful – so we rely on our communities engaging with us and letting us know when there are issues.

As a result of the camera’s deployment, reports of Anti-Social Behaviour have reduced significantly.

During this event, PCSO Creppy was joined by Neighbourhoods’  Superintendent Mahmood who took the opportunity to meet with residents and to provide updates about the progress of Safer Neighbourhood’s policing and our local policing plan.

Please keep an eye on our ‘Events’ listings on Met Engage – as we aim to hold events regularly.

If you would like us to organise an event in your area, please get in touch!
