🚔 HELP US PREVENT CAR THEFT – KEEP YOUR VEHICLE SAFE! 🚗🔒

With a rise in car thefts and cars being broken into, As your local police, we’re encouraging everyone to take a few simple steps to help reduce vehicle theft and theft from vehicles in our community.

🔑 Always lock your vehicle – even if you’re only leaving it for a few minutes.

👜 Keep valuables out of sight – never leave handbags, wallets, phones, laptops or other valuables on display.

🚘 Check before you walk away – make sure all windows are closed, doors are locked and your vehicle is secure.

🔐 Protect your keys – keep car keys away from doors and windows at home, and consider using a signal-blocking pouch if you own a keyless entry vehicle.

🅿️ Park smart – where possible, park in a well-lit, secure area or a garage.

📱 Stay alert – report suspicious activity around vehicles to the police. Never put yourself at risk by confronting someone you suspect of committing a crime.

🚨 See something suspicious? Report it. If a crime is in progress or someone is in immediate danger, call 999. For non-emergency concerns, contact police on 101 or report online.

Small actions can make a big difference. By working together, we can help protect our vehicles, prevent crime and keep our community safe.
