KINGSTON GATE:: What have we been up to? |

It's been a while since we shared some positive results.
Unfortunately there had been some motor vehicles thefts in September but the good news is that the two vehicles were both recovered. An Audi Q6 E-TRON (Relay Theft) was stolen from CLIFTON ROAD, a Piaggo scooter was stolen from PARK ROAD. One of these was located using the tracker that was within the vehicle.
It is a good idea to have a tracker and a steering wheel lock to prevent theft or locate as vehicles are often dumped in a different area. One of the vehicles was found by Surrey Police. We encourage residents to notify us of vehicles that may have been dumped.
Officers personally recovered 3 x scooters in the York Road, Kingston Hill and Acre Road areas. These had been stolen from the Wimbledon, Wandsworth and Elephant & Castle areas.
An e-bike was seized (after being used in drug supply) and rucksack of class A drugs was recovered after a bicycle pursuit from Cowleaze Road towards Canbury Gardens in which Canbury and Kingston Gate officers worked in collaboration. Work is ongoing to arrest the male connected to the items.
A stop and search on Kingston Hill provided a positive stop, after a female exiting Cumberland House was demonstrating strange behaviours that made officers interact with the female, where she was seen to drop class A drugs. A community resolution was given.
Officers had seen a known shoplifter and upon checking if they were wanted, observed that their acquaintance had two very bulky legs. The men were further observed and one of them was found to have large cuts of meat within their leg trouser area. One male was arrested for shoplifting
PCSO Carby and PC Grant visited St Luke's Primary School (nursery and reception) as part of their Emergency Services educational lessons. They spoke about what the police do, the differences between police constables and police community officers and answered their many questions, before posing for pictures.
If you would like to meet the team, we have our next Ward Panel Meeting taking place on the 4th November 2026. Please see the poster below.
