Traffic enforcement!

Dear Residents,

Yesterday, members of your local Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out proactive patrols across Saddleworth in response to concerns raised by the community regarding drivers using mobile phones whilst behind the wheel.

During the operation, a significant number of vehicles were stopped, with officers dealing with offences including mobile phone use and speeding. As a result, three drivers were reported for using a mobile phone whilst driving and will now be considered for further action.

This operation highlights how concerns raised by local residents directly influence our policing activity. By listening to the community and taking positive action, we can work together to tackle issues that affect the safety of everyone on our roads.

We are committed to continuing this work and addressing the concerns that matter most to our communities.

If you find these updates useful and would like to see more information about the work being carried out by your local policing team, please let us know by reacting to this post.

Kind regards,

Your Saddleworth Neighbourhood Policing Team
