Police Appeal - Theft From Motor Vehicle

We are appealing for information following a vehicle break in on 6th October 2026, at approximately 02:50am, parked outside 74 De Burgh Street.  A suspect has been identified in connection with a linked theft; however we have not yet received a report from the owner of the vehicle involved.  If your vehicle was broken into around this time, please contact police as soon as possible.

We are aware of concerns regarding the recent increase in vehicle thefts locally.  Six suspects have been identified this week, and investigations remain ongoing.  We would encourage residents to remain vigilant, ensure vehicles are locked, remove valuables from view and report suspicious activity.

Anyone with information or who believes their vehicle may have been targeted is asked to contact police.  Thank you for your continued support.
