Bike Marking Event in Poplar High street

Poplar SNT conducted a Bike Marking Event on Poplar High Street in partnership with the Tower Hamlets ASB team. The event aimed to promote cycle security, prevent bike theft and raise awareness of crime prevention measures. A number of local residents and cyclists came forward to register their bicycles through the bike marking scheme. Officers engaged with members of the public and provided crime prevention advise on how to reduce the risk of bike theft, including taking appropriate security measures to protect their bicycles. The event encouraged positive community engagement, strengthened partnership working and supported ongoing efforts to prevent cycle theft and improve community safety in Poplar.
