🍂🎆 Bonfire Night and Firework Safety Reminder 🎆🍂 |
||
|
As we head into Bonfire Night season, please help keep yourself, your family and your community safe when using fireworks. ✅ Read the instructions carefully before use and light fireworks at arm's length using a safety firework lighter or fuse wick. ✅ Stand well back once a firework has been lit and never return to it. ✅ Keep a bucket of water nearby and safely soak used fireworks before disposal. ✅ Never throw fireworks, carry them in your pocket, or store them unsafely. ✅ Fireworks should always be handled by adults. ✅ Sparklers are not suitable for children under five. Light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves to prevent burns. 🐾 Remember your pets. Fireworks can be frightening for animals, so keep pets safely indoors and be considerate of pets in your neighbourhood. Know the lawWhere possible, consider attending an organised public display, which is often the safest way to enjoy the celebrations. Let's all do our part to ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable and incident-free Bonfire Night. 🎇🔥
