Hello everyone,
Here’s a quick update on what I’ve been doing over the past month as your local ward officer for Cliffsend and Nethercourt. Over the past few weeks, I have supported an operation in Newington. This resulted in the arrest of a young person and the seizure of an illegal high-powered electric bike. These bikes can be dangerous and may not be legal to use on roads or in public places. Riders could have their bike seized and may also receive points on their driving licence for offences such as having no insurance. I have also made multiple arrests this month. These included a man following a serious domestic incident, a young person suspected of going equipped to steal and possessing cannabis, and a woman for possession of an illegal substance. The young person was arrested alongside three others for similar offences in the Ramsgate area. One was also found with a bladed article. Alongside this work, I have responded to a number of 999 calls across Thanet, ranging from broken-down vehicles to fights and other emergencies, and addressed several 101 calls in the areas of Cliffsend and Nethercourt, with the aim of addressing concerns that has been raised by residents in these areas.
Come and speak to meI will be covering a colleague’s Police Surgery tomorrow, Friday 9 October, at 6pm, at: Nursery Fields If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to come along and have a chat,
My next surgery will be in Cliffsend: Tuesday 24 November at 10:30am
All the best, | ||
