Subject: Frognal Ward Monthly Newsletter – September Crime Update |

Good Evening Residents of Frognal, I hope this newsletter finds you well. Please accept my apologies for the delay in issuing the September newsletter. I was away last week and, consequently, this month's update is being circulated later than usual. During September, the following offences were reported within the Frognal Ward: As we have now entered the autumn season, the days are becoming shorter and darkness falls earlier. Unfortunately, this can create additional opportunities for offenders who target properties that appear unoccupied. I would therefore encourage all residents to review their home security measures and ensure that any timer-controlled lighting is adjusted to reflect the seasonal changes. A well-lit property can be an effective deterrent and can reduce the likelihood of criminals targeting your home. Please remember that one of the simplest crime prevention measures is to make your property appear occupied. The presence of lights and everyday household noise can make intruders feel unwelcome and may discourage them from attempting to gain entry. I would also encourage residents to remain vigilant, ensure that doors and windows are secured, and promptly report any suspicious activity to the police. Thank you for your continued support in helping to keep Frognal a safe and welcoming community. Kind regards, Naomi Francis
