INTERPOL arrest at Downhills Park

INTERPOL arrest at Downhills Park

Today, officers from West Green Ward attended an encampment in Downhills Park as part of ongoing efforts to tackle anti-social behaviour and address concerns raised by the local community.

During enquiries conducted at the location, officers identified and arrested an individual who was wanted by INTERPOL. The arrest demonstrates the importance of proactive neighbourhood policing and regular patrols in responding to local issues while identifying individuals sought for more serious matters.

West Green Ward officers will continue to work alongside partner agencies to address anti-social behaviour, safeguard vulnerable individuals, and ensure that our parks remain safe and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.

We would like to thank members of the public for their continued support and engagement with their local policing team.
