📚👮‍♂️ Police Visit to Ashby Church of England Primary School 👮‍♀️📚

We were delighted to visit Ashby Church of England Primary School as part of the pupils' learning about People Who Help Us in Our School and Community.

Our PCSOs spent the afternoon talking to the children about policing, our role within the community, and how we help to keep people safe. The pupils impressed us with their enthusiasm and knowledge, asking lots of thoughtful questions about police work and confidently telling us which number to call in an emergency.

The children also learnt some important personal safety advice and had the opportunity to take a closer look at one of our police vehicles. The police van tour was a real highlight, with plenty of excitement and curiosity from the class!

It was fantastic to see so many children putting their hands up when asked if they would like to become police officers in the future. We hope the visit inspired them and helped build positive relationships between young people and their local police.

A big thank you to all the staff and pupils at Ashby Church of England Primary School for making us feel so welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning in the future.

See you again next year.
