Traffic operation

Traffic operation

With assistance from Thamesmead East and Sidcup SNT officers, the team conducted a traffic operation on Woolwich Road yesterday. This involved measuring speeds of vehicles - those found to be in excess of the speed limit were then stopped and spoken to by officers.

Of 17 vehicles stopped, there were 3 vehicles seized (two cars and one moped) for no insurance and three traffic offence reports created. A very useful operation, with more being planned in other areas of the ward in the future.
