Hate Crime Awareness Week- Electric Umbrella performance with police in the Marlowes : Wed 14 Oct 10:30 to 11:00

Dear Resident

To mark Hate Crime Awareness Week, the police are joining with Electric Umbrella at a performance on the Rainbow Stage in the pedestrianised area of the Marlowes.

Electric Umbrella harness the power of music to challenge perceptions, break down barriers, and redefine societal norms. Their mission is to create a truly inclusive society – one where everyone, regardless of ability, is seen, heard, and celebrated. More than just performance, their work is about shifting mindsets, empowering individuals, and making inclusion a lived reality in every community.

"Because we believe there’s no such thing as “normal.”

Their website can be found here (open as new window)

Pkease come along and enjoy the performance and chat to officers about any concerns.
