Arrest- Drug supply- Southcroft |
||
|
Recently we have received community reports, at drop in forums and on patrol, of drug dealing occurring in and around Southcroft, Littleover, occurring throughout the day and night. Officers from the Littleover Safer Neighbourhood Team ( SNT) conducted enquiries and developed intelligence around the suspected address over the last few weeks, gathering information on vehicles and people frequenting the address.
This week the team, joined by Pear Tree SNT officers attended an address on Southcroft and arrested their target who they believed was dealing the drugs. A quantity of drugs and dealer bags was discovered, located behind a purpose built hidden room, and the 20 year old male was arrested for being concerned in the supply of drugs.
We will continue to patrol and take action at this location, and others across Littleover and Blagreaves to prevent the supply of drugs, and the connected crimes that accompany it to ensure it remains a safe area to live and work.
We wanted to thank those who anonymously gave information for us to take action. If you are concerned about drug dealing, concealment or growing please report this to us in the strictest confidence through the below methods: Thank you, Sam 12829
