Hello everyone, Thank you to everyone who joined us for our recent Age UK and Neighbourhood Watch webinar. It was a really useful session, with some great information and practical advice around supporting people in our communities, recognising concerns and knowing where to go for help. For anyone who wasn't able to join us, or for those who would like to revisit the session, we've put together the following resources:

We've also included some useful information and key statistics shared by Tim Guy from Age UK Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly, along with an important contact number to keep handy:
Age UK: 01872 266383 Last year alone, Age UK Cornwall & The Isles of Scilly: • Answered more than 64,000 advice and information calls Behind every statistic is an individual whose quality of life has been improved through practical help, trusted advice or simply knowing someone was there when they needed support. Please feel free to share these resources with your scheme members, friends, family and wider community. As Neighbourhood Watch volunteers, you are often in a great position to help make sure useful information reaches people who may not otherwise come across it.
Coming upKeep an eye out for details of our next South West Neighbourhood Watch webinar, which we're hoping to hold in late November. The speakers and topic will be informed by the feedback you gave us in the South West Neighbourhood Watch training survey at the end of the summer. We're currently working through your responses and will share more details as soon as everything is confirmed. Thank you again for taking the time to complete the survey and for helping us shape future training and events around what is most useful to you. And, of course, thank you for your continued work in supporting safer, stronger and more connected communities across the South West.
Best wishes, Steph | ||
