Here’s an update on burglary locally. On the afternoon of Saturday 3rd October 2026 a burglary had been reported at an address on CLITHEROW AVENUE W7. The suspect had entered the property via the rear of the address and stole items including house keys, a laptop and bank cards. Moments later the victim saw failed transactions made on her cards at nearby shops. Police were informed and obtained CCTV of the suspect who was later identified by local officers. Officers from the Emergency Response Team arrested the suspect within 24 hours of the initial call being made. Thanks to another local resident who called police reporting a suspicious package stating a male has been seen dumping a bag. This call to police led to officers attending and finding items belonging to the burglary victim. A combination of fast reporting, officers local knowledge, swift action and helpful members of the public the items were reunited with their rightful owner and suspect has been arrested for a further 2 burglaries and a theft whilst in custody.
