Dear Resident
Between 19:00 hours on Sunday 4th October and 09:00 hours on Monday 5th October 2026 a theft from a vehicle occurred in Newland Avenue, Bishop's Stortford.
Between these times, offenders have approached a locked and secured BMW and by using an unknown implement, offenders have cut a hole in the drivers door, gaining access to the electrical components inside. Offenders have then managed to gain entry to the vehicle by lowering the window in the door and removed the electrical system from the vehicle including screens, idrive and also the entire steering wheel. Offenders have then made off with the items in an unknown direction.
