Crime Prevention Event at King George Hospital ( KGH )

🚔 Crime Prevention in the Community 🚔

Today, officers from Chadwell Neighbourhood Policing Team were pleased to assist Seven Kings NPT at King George Hospital for a community crime prevention event.

We had some great conversations with patients, visitors and staff, sharing advice on how to protect themselves from motor vehicle crime and raising awareness around Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

🚗 Motor Vehicle Crime

Remove valuables from sight.

Always lock your vehicle and secure windows.

Consider additional security devices such as steering wheel locks.

Be vigilant when parking and report suspicious activity.

💜 VAWG Awareness

Providing information on personal safety.

Signposting support services available to victims.

Encouraging reporting and challenging unacceptable behaviour.

Working together to make our communities safer for women and girls.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by for a chat. Engagement events like these are a fantastic opportunity to share advice, answer questions and strengthen the partnership between the police and our local community.
